Industrial Rubber roller manufacturing process

Kody Rubetech, established in 1984, is known as the pioneer of rubber rollers manufacturing industry in India. Factors such as customized solutions, transparent business dealings, competitive costs and strict adherence to delivery deadlines has enabled us to gain prominence among the clients.

Manufacturing of rubber roller requires technology and experience. We focus on elements such as the performance of the rubber compounds, finishing precision, quality maintenance, roller core material and structure and proper bonding of rubber and core. Each of these components are important to consider for a quality product at the end.

Some industry verticals that use rubber rollers include:

  • Consulting
  • Customer Service
  • Innovation
  • Management
  • Ethics

Rubber Rollers have an optimized performance when they are appropriately selected for each application considering all the necessary conditions.

Design Process

Detailed designing of the product is carried out according to individual project requirements. The designing stage of rubber roller will include taking into consideration the tolerance, sizes (length, diameter and end length), structure, MOC and complete drawing.

Once the designing process is completed from our end, it is forwarded to the client for approval. The manufacturing process begins only after the client approval is received.

Procurement

Material procurement is an essential stage in the entire process as quality of end product relies on it. Bill of material is what decides the final raw materials that will be required for the project.

As mentioned earlier, the quality of raw materials is the key to best in class rubber rollers. Thus, we put to use only tested materials that undergo ultrasonic test and are purchased from certified vendors.

Production

The production process begins with machining of all materials. Right after machining, pipe stage balancing is carried out. Pipe stage balancing ensures that the rubber rollers are stable when put into practical use. Welding is when the rubber roller is equally made to cushion the work piece.

All the rollers need to be balanced either statically or dynamically depending on the end application and speed of the rubber roller. We make sure that the rubber rollers are well balanced.

Thereafter, threading for mechanical bonding and sandblasting are processes to avoid corrosion of rubber rollers. Absence of corrosion is inversely proportional to the longevity of rubber rollers. Our long lasting products have backed us in becoming a leading rubber roller manufacturer.

Last of all the processes is the rubber coating process. Three chemical layers are applied for bonding. Once rubber coating with variable drive is completed, pressure is applied by tying the product with cotton tapes. Vulcanization of rubber roller at 150 degree of temperature is carried out for 10-12 hours depending on the material.

There are chances that the thickness of rubber rollers is uneven at the center and edges. Due to this the end grinding and rubber grinding process becomes essential to make the surface even.

QC inspection of the final product assures the client of a high performance product. The QC inspection stage includes verification of various product aspects such as length, diameter, tolerance, rubber material hardness and visual inspection of the material. These various quality checks have earned us the title of most reliable rubber roller manufacturer in India.

The polishing and finishing of rubber roller makes the product deliverable. And what’s more? Our four layers of packaging ensure that the product reaches you safe and sound!

  • First layer - craft paper
  • Second layer - foam sheet of 5mm thickness
  • Third layer - cotton tapes
  • Fourth layer - wooden block or box.
